Howard Stark acquired the Vibranium during World War II when he was working with the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) to develop advanced technology for the war effort. He obtained the Vibranium from Wakanda, a fictional African nation known for its rich deposits of the rare metal. Stark likely negotiated with Wakandan officials or used his connections to secure the Vibranium for his projects, such as creating Captain America's iconic shield. **

The Iron Man suits are not made of Vibranium because Vibranium is a rare and expensive fictional metal in the Marvel universe. It is primarily found in the African nation of Wakanda, and its scarcity makes it difficult to obtain in large quantities. Additionally, Tony Stark, the creator of the Iron Man suits, has access to other advanced materials and technologies that allow him to create powerful and durable suits without the need for Vibranium. Finally, using Vibranium in the Iron Man suits could potentially create conflicts with Wakanda and its ruler, as they closely guard the use and distribution of the precious metal. **

The vibranium used in Captain America's shield comes from Wakanda, a fictional African nation in the Marvel Universe. Wakanda is known for being the only source of vibranium in the world, making it a highly sought-after and valuable resource. The metal is mined and processed in Wakanda, and its unique properties make it ideal for creating Captain America's iconic shield. **
